That day, our group decided to organize a weekend camping trip in the woods near a small stream. The sky was initially clear, the sun was mild, making everyone excited to set up tents, collect firewood and prepare food. But suddenly, dark clouds appeared from somewhere, and a heavy rain poured down as if to test our patience.
Despite the surprise, the group quickly cooperated. We covered the tents with large tarps and tried to keep important items dry. Everyone gathered together, laughing and talking to dispel the cold of the rain. In this situation, we decided to do something interesting: toast bread on the campfire to enjoy the cozy atmosphere in the middle of the forest rain.
The campfire was carefully lit under a large tarp. The dry wood we had prepared in advance worked well, keeping the fire burning steadily. Bread, butter, and some pieces of bacon were brought out. We skewered each loaf of bread onto the peeled wooden sticks and started toasting over the fire. The aroma of toasted bread mixed with the scent of melted butter spread throughout the space, making everyone unable to resist.
In that moment, the forest rain seemed to become a part of the experience, not a nuisance. The sound of falling rain mixed with the crackling fire created a natural music, helping the soul relax.
